WMU offices closed Independence Day

KALAMAZOO--Except for essential and emergency services, Western Michigan University offices will be closed Monday, July 4, in observance of U.S. Independence Day.

Listed below are Independence Day weekend hours for selected university offices and services. Faculty, students and the public are encouraged to call ahead to make sure that a particular office on campus is open. For emergencies only, contact WMU Public Safety at (269) 387-5555.

Admissions office is closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday, July 2-4.

Computer lab in UCC is open noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday, July 2-4; the Bernhard Center lab and the computer help desk are both closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Student Recreation Center is open noon to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 2-3, and closed Monday, July 4.

Sindecuse Health Center, including the pharmacy, is closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday, July 2-4. Medical emergencies should be referred to local hospitals or other health care providers.

Waldo Library is closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday, July 2-4.

West Hills Athletic Club is open reduced hours Friday, July 1, 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, July 2, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and is closed Sunday and Monday, July 3-4.
