Surplus woodworking equipment goes on sale

KALAMAZOO--Surplus woodworking equipment slated for a sealed-bid sale may be viewed in a walk-through at 4 p.m. Monday, March 27, in the Western Michigan University Campus Services Building.

Sealed bids, in envelopes marked "Woodworking Equipment Bid," are due by 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, at the Campus Services Building, and all items must be picked up by 5 p.m. Friday, March 31. Some of the items included in the sale are: 12-inch Rockwell/Delta disk sander; Delta table saw; Craftsman radial arm saw; Rockwell/Delta shaper; cabinet full of Delta shaper accessories; Rockwell/Delta Uniplaner; AAA Plastics vacuum former (minimum bid $500); Curtis panel sander, model #8V-59-69 (minimum bid $750); Rockwell/Delta wood lathes, model #46-499; 12-inch Sears/Crafstman band saw, model #113.248320; a mixed lot of rough sawn lumber (minimum bid $850); and several other items.
