WMU Home > About WMU > WMU News Guest artist Richard Rulli performs in DaltonOct. 16, 2006 KALAMAZOO--Dr. Richard Rulli, professor of trumpet at the University of Arkansas, performs in a free, guest artist recital at 8:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, in the Dalton Center Recital Hall at Western Michigan University. Rulli is known throughout the southern United States and the Midwest as a soloist and chamber musician. His recital at WMU will include a variety of styles. Works on the program include "Impromptu" by Jacques Ibert, "Concerto a Tromba principale" by Johann Nepomuk Hummel, "Sonata No. 1 for Trumpet" by David R.
