WMU Home > About WMU > WMU News Gold Company gives sneak preview performanceOct. 26, 2006 KALAMAZOO--Gold Company, Western Michigan University's award-winning vocal jazz ensemble, will present its 29th annual Sneak Preview fall concert at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, in the Dalton Center Recital Hall. General admission tickets are available in advance through the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office or may be purchased at the door for $10 each. Students and senior citizens will be admitted for $5. Thursday's sneak preview performance will feature the 2006-07 edition of Gold Company composed of16 singers, plus the GC Band and GC Horns. Also performing will be Gold Company's sister group, GC II. Both groups will perform their new repertoire, some of which is being prepared for Gold Company's annual show at Miller Auditorium, Feb. 10, 2007. Gold Company is directted by Dr. Stephen Zegree, the Bobby McFerrin Professor of Jazz in the WMU School of Music. Michael Wheaton directs GC II.
