One Stop convenience offered in Bernhard

Jan. 4, 2007

KALAMAZOO--A temporary One Stop Convenience Center will be open Monday through Wednesday, Jan. 8-10, in Western Michigan University's Bernhard Center Ballroom, complementing the student services regularly offered at Bronco Express in Bernhard's main floor lobby. Both Bronco Express and One Stop will be open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 8-10.

Services regularly available at Bronco Express--answers to basic questions about financial aid, paying bills and student accounts--will remain at Bronco Express, with extended hours.

Other services and offices represented at One Stop in the ballroom will include Career and Student Employment Services, Parking Services, Registrar's Office and Sindecuse Health Center.

The Bronco Card Center is located near the ballroom and will be open extended hours, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Wednesday, the same as Bronco Express and One Stop.

Representatives from student financial aid will be available in the ballroom to answer more complex questions about applying for scholarships or financial aid. Basic questions, such as when refunds will be issued, can be answered at Bronco Express year-round Monday through Friday, except during holidays.

Courtesy guides will be available in the Bernhard Center to answer questions and direct students to either One Stop or Bronco Express, depending on the students' needs.

As previously announced, with fall semester's opening of Bronco Express, financial aid advisors are no longer available in the financial aid office in Faunce Student Services Building and student cashiering in Seibert Administration has closed. Those services are now both conveniently located at Bronco Express in the Bernhard Center.
