Collegium Musicum presents free spring concert

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University's Collegium Musicum will present a free, public concert at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, in the Dalton Center Recital Hall.

The concert will feature several guest artists, including soloists Mialtin Zhezha, violin, and Yu-Lien The and Christopher Speaks, recorders, who will perform Bach's fourth Brandenburg concerto with the 13-member Collegium orchestra. Also performing will be guest artists Dr. John Robison, a professor and lutenist from the University of South Florida, and soprano Rachel Steel, former winner of the Kalamazoo Bach Festival Vocal Competition. They will present music of John Dowland, an English composer, singer and lutenist, with the Collegium viol consort.
