WMU Home > About WMU > WMU News New undergraduate research award applications dueJan. 4, 2008 KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University undergraduate students have until Monday, Jan. 21, to file the first round of applications for the Undergraduate Research Excellence Award program funded by the Office of the Vice President for Research. Students apply for $500 toward a stipend, travel or supplies for a mentored-research project or creative activity related experience with one of WMU's externally funded faculty. Under the program, faculty subsequently may apply for up to $200 for additional supplies to support the student. To determine which faculty members in their departments are externally funded, students should contact their department offices.
