Nov. 13, 2008
KALAMAZOO--Fans attending Saturday's (Nov. 15) football game at Western Michigan University's Waldo Stadium are encouraged to bring recommended items to donate for care packages for WMU students, alumni and employees serving in the military in combat zones.
In their final home game of the season, the Broncos (8-2 overall, 5-1 MAC) take on the Toledo Rockets (2-7, 1-4) at 2 p.m. Saturday. In honor of Veterans Day, past and present members of the armed forces will be honored prior to the game. Donation barrels will be staged outside Gates One, Two, Four and Seven for items to be used for care packages for WMU military personnel serving in combat zones.
