Jean C. Neuber

Jean C. Neuber, a retired staff member of Western Michigan University, died Dec. 10 at her home in Peru, Ill., following a battle with cancer. She was 72.
Neuber was employed in the WMU Development Office from 1975 to 1992, when she retired from the University. She specialized in word processing, including gift acknowledgments for the WMU Foundation, and was a member of the Professional Support Staff Organization.
Following her retirement from the University, Neuber moved to Florida, where she was later employed as a test administrator with the Federal Aviation Administration and at the Lakeland Public Library.
Born Aug. 17, 1936, in Kalamazoo, Neuber was the daughter of Carl and Esther Cobel. She is survived by two daughters and five grandchildren.
