March 19, 2009

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University education alumni will share their experiences over dinner with education majors during Take a Bronco to Dinner from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, in Room 208 of the Bernhard Center.

The program will feature two successful WMU alumni as keynote speakers, Dr. Geoffrey Balkam, superintendent of Climax-Scotts Schools, and Mary Leveque, an itinerant teacher of students with visual impairments. They will share their insight on professional opportunities available to education graduates and offer suggestions on how to succeed in the field.

Sponsored by the WMU Student Alumni Association, Take a Bronco to Dinner is a program that provides students in the College of Education with a free dinner and one-on-one interaction with education alumni from their areas of study.
