Bookstore paying cash for used books

April 16, 2009

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University students can sell used books to the WMU Bookstore during the April Book Buyback at Textbook Alley in the Bernhard Center today through Saturday, April 25, and in Room 1455 of Schneider Hall Monday through Thursday, April 20-23.

Weather permitting, a buyback location will be set up Monday through Thursday, April  20-23, near Goldsworth Pond along Gilkison Avenue. In the event of rain, the Goldsworth location will move to the Hadley Hall TV Lounge in Valley I.

Students will receive up to 50 percent of the new-book price if the book is needed by the store. If the book is not needed by the WMU Bookstore, it may still be purchased for resale in the national market, subject to prevailing market value.
