Lecture focuses on language translation

KALAMAZOO--Dr. Peter Krawutschke, professor of German at Western Michigan University, will discuss his vast experience in language translation, in a free public lecture at 5 p.m. Thursday, July 16, in 1003 Brown Hall on the WMU main campus.

A past president of the American Translators Association, Krawutschke will discuss the role of the translator in modern society, and critical resources and networks for translators. The presentation is part of WMU's Summer Translation Institute, sponsored by the Department of Foreign Languages.
