Celebrate the change with 'Menopause the Musical'
Dec. 11, 2009
KALAMAZOO--"Menopause the Musical," a hilarious celebration of women and "the change," returns to Western Michigan University's Miller Auditorium for four shows Friday through Sunday, Jan. 29-31.
The international hit production "Menopause the Musical" has been enjoyed by 11 million fans in 250 U.S. cities and 14 countries. The show follows four women who meet by chance at a lingerie sale and seem to have nothing in common but a black lace bra. A sisterhood is created between these diverse women as they bond over their woeful hot flashes, forgetfulness, mood swings, wrinkles, night sweats and chocolate binges.
Since March 2001, this 90-minute musical comedy has both entertained and inspired audiences around the world with parodies of 25 memorable hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s, including "Puff, My God I'm Draggin'" and "Stayin' Awake, Stayin' Awake."
