Shakespeare returns to University Theatre

KALAMAZOO--Shakespeare returns to Western Michigan University Theatre with the romantic comedy "As You Like It," which is running Feb. 18-26 in Shaw Theatre at the Gilmore Theatre Complex.
"As You Like It" was last seen on WMU's campus exactly 100 years ago as the 1910 senior production. Join University Theatre as it revisits love in all its guises. Set in the time of the Revolutionary War, this comic romp follows the misadventures of court exiles in the Forest of Arden.
Cast and creative team
University Theatre's production of "As You Like It" is under the direction of Jim Daniels, professor of theatre. The all-student cast includes Therese Anderberg, MacGregor Arney, Eric Braman, Sean Buckley, Kris Dalton, Jenna D'Angelo, Joe Dely, Justin Garascia, Megan Jacobson, Chase LePla, Lachlan MacQuarrie, Peter Noreen, Max Rasmussen, Kenzie Ross, Joe Russell, Louis Sallan, Nathaniel Schick, Joe Seibert, Chad Sutton, Janai Travis, Mitch Voss and Frank Williams.
WMU alumna and Broadway lighting designer Patricia Nichols (Jersey Boys) will be lighting the production. The creative team also includes Greg Roehrick, scenic design; Kristen Ahern, costume design; Josh Reid, sound design; and Emily Parr, stage management.
All seating for "As You Like It" at Shaw Theatre is reserved. Tickets are $20, $15 for senior citizens and WMU employees, and $5 for students.
