Oscar-nominated 'Fantastic Mr. Fox' at Little Theatre

KALAMAZOO--Western Film Society presents six screenings of "Fantastic Mr. Fox" Friday through Sunday, Feb. 19-21, in the Little Theatre at Western Michigan University.
Show times for "Fantastic Mr. Fox" are Friday and Saturday at 7 and 9:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 and 5 p.m. General admission is $5 and $3 for students with a valid Bronco ID Card.
Oscar-nominated for Best Original Score and Best Animated Feature, "Fantastic Mr. Fox" is the latest film from celebrated director Wes Anderson. The film is adapted from Roald Dahl's beloved story about a very clever fox and his plans to swindle his three farmer arch-nemeses. "Fantastic Mr. Fox" utilizes stop-motion animation along with amazingly intricate detail and the vocal talents of George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Jason Schwartzman, Owen Wilson, Bill Murray, Willem Dafoe and Michael Gambon.
"Fantastic Mr. Fox" is shown in English and French with English subtitles. The 2009 film has a run time of 87 minutes and is rated PG for action, smoking and slang humor.

The Little Theatre is located at the corner of Oakland Drive and Oliver Lane on WMU's East Campus. Free off-street parking is available behind the theatre.
