Gifts to WMU top $6.6 millionFeb. 24, 2010 KALAMAZOO--According to a report presented at the February meeting of the Western Michigan University Board of Trustees, WMU received $6,606,150 in gifts during the first seven months of the 2009-10 fiscal year, July 1, 2009, through Jan. 31, 2010. The amount received is about $87,000 or 1.3 percent less than the same seven-month period of the preceding fiscal year.
