Students join forces for WMUnited for HaitiMarch 5, 2010 KALAMAZOO--More than 30 student organizations at Western Michigan University are collaborating to host WMUnited for Haiti from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 12, in the Bernhard Center Ballroom. The event is open to the public. Admission is $3 and all proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross Haiti Fund. Entertainment will feature WMU theatre and dance students, student fashions by the Merchandising Opportunities and Design Association, as well as several other student groups. Those attending will have multiple fun opportunities to donate to Haitian relief efforts, including a silent auction. Gift cards will be given away throughout the evening, and light refreshments will be available. The International Programs Council is coordinating the event with support from the Campus Activities Board, Graduate Student Advisory Council and Western Student Association.
