Photo of robbery suspect releasedDec. 14, 2010 KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University Public Safety has released security camera photos of a man believed to be the suspect in two separate armed robberies that occurred at 6:20 and 6:55 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, in the area of the roundabout near Faunce Student Services Building on West Michigan Avenue. The suspect in both robberies was described by victims as a black male, 6-feet tall, 200 pounds and medium build. He was wearing a dark blue hoody, blue jeans and a black ski mask. Following the second robbery, the suspect was seen fleeing in the general direction of Rood Hall. A short time after the second robbery, a man matching the description of the robber and wearing a dark Kalamazoo Valley Cougars hoody and ski mask was videotaped (left) on security cameras in Rood Hall carrying a purse believed to be the one stolen in the second robbery.
