WMU opens one-stop service center for students, parentsDec. 22, 2010 KALAMAZOO--As thousands of students head back to campus, Western Michigan University will once again offer a one-stop service center to those wishing to take care of last-minute business associated with the start of a new semester. WMU's One Stop Convenience Center will be assembled on the second floor of the Bernhard Center for one week, Jan. 5-12, offering students and their parents an assortment of campus services in one centralized location. The center will close over the weekend, Jan. 8-9. One Stop--spring 2011 hours
Those visiting One Stop will be able to purchase parking permits, arrange for on-campus housing, and get information on financial aid, student accounts, employment, immunizations and health care services. Representatives from several areas will be on hand to assist students and their parents:
Bronco Express, the year-round service center located on the main floor of the Bernhard Center, will be open to assist students with financial aid questions and making payments to their accounts. Students can get new or replacement Bronco ID Cards in Room 109, and add or update meal plans in Room 161. Anyone looking for electronics, computers, clothing or gear can check out TotalTech and Buster's, also located on the main floor. Textbooks can be purchased at Textbook Alley, which is on the lower level of the Bernhard Center, along with several fast-food restaurants, a PNC Bank and a specialty apparel shop. Additional campus offices will remain open until 6 p.m. Jan. 10-12 to service students:
