Update: Due to anticipated travel difficulties for many of the participating employers, WMU's 33rd annual Career Fair has been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 17. The hours and location remain the same.
KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University's 33rd annual Career Fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 3, in the Bernhard Center Ballroom.
Organized by the University's Career and Student Employment Services, the free event is expected to attract more than 3,000 job seekers. Although open to the public, it is tailored to WMU students and alumni.
Those attending should research employers in advance, dress professionally and bring copies of an updated resume. Many employers will ask qualified candidates to complete an online employment application in lieu of submitting a printed resume.

They represent a wide range of nonprofit agencies as well as business sectors such as engineering, health care, technology, government, retail and consumer products, insurance, transportation, construction and environmental sciences.
Employers are recruiting for interns and college graduates. Some may conduct first-round interviews with select candidates Friday, Feb. 4. Employers still wanting to register to participate may do so online or by calling (269) 387-2745.
