Find out where you are registered to vote in the November election

KALAMAZOO--Voters throughout Michigan will be going to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 8, to cast ballots in local elections, and Western Michigan University is again making voter information easier to find with a Web page aimed at increasing political participation among students and the general public.

Polls are open
7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 8

The voter information page provides online answers to questions such as, "Where do I vote?" and "How do I get an absentee ballot?" The deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 8 election or change the address at which you are registered was Oct. 11.

You can speed the voting process by checking your sample ballot online, discussing issues and candidates with family and friends, and deciding how you'll vote before you go to the polls.
