Scholarship Eligibility
For all undergraduate students:
- Registered as a Paper Engineering/Paper Science major or Paper Engineering minor
- Registered as a full-time student at WMU (12+ credit hours/winter or spring semester or 6+ credit hours/for summer I and II semester)
- Registered for at least one paper course (three credit hours: as required by the program curriculum) during the semester in which a scholarship is awarded.
Continuing students:
- A minimum overall GPA of 2.7 is required.
New students:
- A minimum ACT score of 24 composite
- The ability to be placed in Math 1180 or above for the first semester of study and the placement in Chemistry 1100 or above
- Academic standing as top entering student by ACT composite score of 36 as perfect, following in descending order.
Transfer students:
- A minimum overall GPA of 2.7 is required.
- The ability to be placed in Math 1180 or above for the first semester of study and the placement in Chemistry 1100 or above.
PTF scholarships are awarded on a funds available basis for US and Canadian citizens only.
