WUG Officers for 2010
President/Secretary: Nancy Kroes
Nancy Kroes is the Web and communications leader for the Web's Office of Information Technology. She has been in this department
through at least four name changes, since 1986 and manages all Web sites under the jurisdiction of OIT
as well as handling communications for the department.
Vice President: Scott Puckett
Scott Puckett is the Web Developer for Enrollment Management and the Provost Office. He started at WMU in January of 2009 and maintains and manages numerous Web sites for the University. Scott has 12 years of prior experience in IT and taught evening courses in computer programming at Lake Michigan College.
Webmaster: Cindy Wagner
Cindy Wagner is the Manager of Electronic Communication in the Haworth College of Business. She has worked at WMU for 7 years and is responsible for creating and maintaining the College web site. In addition, she manages all electronic communications in the college, including e-mail blasts, electronic newsletter design, calendars, online stores and conferences and images for both print and electronic use.
Member-at-Large: Alex Aivars
Alex is the Webmaster for the College of Education and Human Development. He has been working at WMU for two and a half years, previously in the College of Arts and Sciences. He now oversees six department websites, as well as websites for numerous offices and grant programs.
Member-at-Large: Matthew Newton
Matthew is the Webmaster for Extended University Programs. He is responsible for their external Web presences, creating, developing, and maintaining the Web for regional sites and online education. Matthew is knowledgeable with a number of Web technologies, such as HTML, PHP, SQL, and Javascript.
