Welcome
Medieval Institute Publications (MIP) assumed its present structure in 1978 as the publishing arm of the Medieval Institute, Western Michigan University, and became a member of the Association of American University Presses in 2011. MIP publishes three series of volumes—Studies in Medieval Culture (SMC), Publications of the Richard Rawlinson Center, and Early Drama, Art, and Music (EDAM). It also publishes, co-publishes, and/or distributes non-series volumes and periodicals, including Studies in Iconography, Medieval Prosopography, Old English Newsletter Subsidia, and materials produced by the Consortium for the Teaching of the Middle Ages (TEAMS).
