Critical Systems experience unexpected Outages on Monday

Error when accessing Student Self-Service within GOWMU

GOWMU has been having issues when trying to link to Self Serve Banner. People trying to access the Student Self-Service/Faculty Self-service links within Academic Services have been recieving an error message: "Unrecognized Request" or a blank page. OIT technical staff have been notified of this issue and are working on it. Most issues were resolved by 7:00 p.m.--CLM


WebCheck

Faculty and Staff have been running into an, "access denied, page is expired" error when trying to login to webcheck. This issue is at the workstation level. When running into this issue, they should try to access webcheck from a different workstation. OIT is aware of the issue and is currently working on a fix. --KW

PIX Firewall Outage Announced

The PIX firewall that provides a tiered layer of protectionto the PeopleSoft subnet (production, test, migration, et al) is in need of a reload to make new, higher concurrency thresholds take effect. The current plan is to do this tomorrow morning, March 2, at 6:30 AM. Entire subnet outage will be about 5 minutes so, to be safe, we are asking for a 30 minute window
