Cisco VoIP phones will be unavailable due to system upgrades between 7 and 8 a.m. on Sunday, July 26. This affects main campus, BC airport, BC Kendall, both GR regional centers and SWRC. Phone call history logs will be lost because of the upgrade. Questions should be directed to the Help Desk at (269) 387-4357, option 1.


Single Number Reach is now availalble for VoIP phones

Single Number Reach, a fee for service function for VoIP phones, is now available to WMU employees. It allows you to create remote destination profiles with up to four additional destination phones to ring simultaneously when your desk phone rings. This service is not available on analog phones. We are experiencing network issues in Faunce and the Office of Sustainability. The issue is affecting both wireless and wired connections, including VOIP phones. Technicians are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it.

We are experiencing intermittent phone issues when communicating with off campus/outside callers. Some callers may experience dropped calls or static on the line. We have reported this issue to our carrier and our technicians are working on it.
