Enrollment Deposit in GoWMU

Gold Gateway

As of February 2021, WMU has made it easier for you to confirm your admission directly in the Gold Gateway. This process is more seamless and will not cause any system delays in unlocking your next steps, including orientation registration.

Enrollment deposits will still be accepted for 2021 semesters through GoWMU if you prefer that process. gowmu.wmich.edu/

Your enrollment deposit confirms that you plan to enroll at Western Michigan University. This deposit is required of all first-time freshmen and transfer students. The $100 deposit is credited toward your first semester’s tuition and is payable online with a credit card or via electronic check. The admission deposit is waived for Pell Grant-eligible students (fafsa.gov).
