GO WEST. | Dominique
Dominique has always enjoyed kinesiology, even before she heard the word. One of the main reasons she chose Western was the reputation of the exercise-science program, which fit perfectly with her goal of becoming a physical therapist with a possible move toward sports medicine.
"I didn't want to be in school forever," she says, noting she can complete the exercise-science program in four years and, at most, add two years for a master's degree.
She knows there's a lot of work ahead, but after graduation, she plans to jump right into physical therapy, where she can assess problems and create exercise programs to fix those problems.
Oh, and she plans to jump into it somewhere warm. Sorry, Michigan.
