Tai Chi

Western Michigan University Adult Wellness Programs offers Tai Chi classes with expert, Ed Kehoe.

Kehoe Martial Arts guides students through a series of slow-motion movements paired with meditative focus and concentration to produce comprehensive results. Some include:

  • Improved strength, balance, flexibility, and circulation
  • Prevention and relief of chronic pain
  • Reduced Stress
  • Enhanced focus
  • Increased energy

A gentle Tai Chi exercise class for seniors in the community. This class will help improve circulation, joint health and internal health functioning through a gentle routine of Tai Chi exercises. The movements are not strenuous incorporating slow deliberate stretching coordinated with deep breathing.

Classes are held at WMU Adult Wellness Programs in the Ishler Wellness Lab:

Wednesdays from 11:45 am to 12:30 pm. $10 per class.
