Chris Radford is a part-time instructor of art at Western Michigan University's Gwen Frostic School of Art where he teaches courses in video. At an early age, Photography and Videography became an important part of life as a way to document and share Skateboarding, Surf, and Rock Climbing trips. As the passion for these forms of art and self expression progressed, so did the importance of Photography and later becoming his main focus of expressive Art.
Radford joined the United States Navy and was lucky to travel the World several times, photographing, surfing, and climbing in some of the most remote and beautiful places on the planet. After his Military service, while living in Southern California he studied Filmmaking and Business Management, but his career in Aviation led him to focus his studies on Aeronautical Engineering.
After a few years in the Engineering and Design spectrum, he felt he had more to offer the World and himself to pursue Art and Design. He earned a Degree in Photography and Intermedia. Presently, he focuses primarily on Freelance Photography, Videography, and Graphic Design services. He also travels to locations to Photograph People, Places, and Things to produce large Fine Art prints for Gallery shows, as well as Art collectors homes and business'.
