This sculpture offers a 21st century commentary on the famous Jonathan Swift 18th century satire, "Gulliver Travels." Otterness employs his quintessential cartoon figures to establish a lighthearted approach to address vexing cultural and social issues of the day. Upon arrival to the Western Michigan University Fine Arts Plaza, viewers are placed in the role of Lilliputians.
