Whether in large-scale public installations or major museum exhibitions, Wing Young Huie creates societal mirrors of our changing cultural landscape. In 2000, the Minneapolis Star Tribune named his "Artist of the Year" stating, "Lake Street USA is likely to stand as a milestone in the history of photography and public art."
On February 10, Huie will discuss his artistic journey as well as share his experiences with the people that he has encountered along the way.
Presented by the Western Michigan University Walker Institute, Department of Anthropology and the Frostic School of Art.
