Visiting Artist: Nichole Maury

Nichole Maury is an assistant professor of Printmedia and Drawing at Western Michigan University. She received her M.F.A. in Printmedia from The University of Iowa (2004) and her B.F.A. from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago (1998). Prior to coming to WMU, Maury was an adjunct assistant professor of art at The University of Iowa.

As an artist, Maury has exhibited widely at the local and national level. Exhibitions include The Chicago Cultural Center, The International Print Center New York, and many prestigious juried exhibitions such as the Bradley National and The Print Center's Annual Exhibition. Maury has received several awards and fellowships and remains an active member of such professional organizations as The Southern Graphics Council, the Mid-America Print council and The Los Angeles Printmedia Society. Her work can be found in the collections of The Rutgers Center for Innovative Print and Paper at The State University of New Jersey, The University of Mississippi-Oxford, and The New Orleans Museum of Art.
