Pillars of Engagement
The pillars of engagement provide the framework for career readiness in the Haworth College of Business. Each SPuRS-approved activity is an item within this framework.
“I have grown professionally a great deal since starting the SPuRS program. My first activity was the resumé critique day and I walked into the career center not knowing how to talk to employers or what to wear. The skills I have developed most are how to communicate with employers, how to work collaboratively with members of an organization, and a sense of global fluency through my study abroad experience. I can end my senior year knowing I am prepared to take on the professional world.” — Cori Ivens, senior
