It’s all about turning ideas into reality for Chase Bonhag. A serial entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Bonhag has a knack for identifying people and opportunities with high potential and encouraging them to turn their thoughts into action. Bonhag’s career has led him down a variety of paths, including working as senior associate at TechNexus. He also spent time at IllinoisVENTURES, focusing on the sourcing and due diligence of new investments, offering strengths and weaknesses of early-stage technologies and providing investment recommendations for firm partners. Between the two companies, Bonhag supported 19 startup investments.

Bonhag plays an active role in the entrepreneurial ecosystems at both WMU and the University of Illinois, helping establish, support and advise some of the top student startup programs in the country. These include Starting Gate at WMU and the iVenture Accelerator at the University of Illinois.
