At just 19, Katie Jeschke started what would be a 10-year journey with her current employer. Beginning as an intern for MPI Research, now Charles River Laboratories, Jeschke was afforded opportunities often unheard of for most college students. At a young age, she was already attending global industry-leading tradeshows, developing marketing plans and deepening relationships with clients.

Ten years later and Jeschke is senior marketing manager for the company, influencing and executing marketing campaigns for the global laboratory, as well as engaging with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to help in their development processes. Aside from her marketing work, Jeschke is also currently leading the Miss Mattawan Scholarship Program, awarding educational scholarships and promoting leadership qualities to young students.
