Even before she graduated from WMU in 2015, Sara O’Connor’s love affair with accounting had already begun. Starting as a financial and statutory accounting intern for Dow, O’Connor took her passion to WMU, where she worked as an accounting research assistant for the university.

Now, O’Connor is back at Dow and serves as a global cost accounting analyst, where she is the global subject matter expert for inventory and manufacturing variances, as well as holds the responsibility for facilitating the annual verification process of Dow’s $7 billion in inventory. She also has the title of committee member for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, is corporate lead for Dow’s annual event and is an active member of the company’s WMU recruiting team.
