Google Glass Demo A few lucky students had the opportunity to try out Google Glass when Newmind Group, one of the only companies in Michigan licensed by Google to develop the product's apps, visited a college Internet marketing class taught by Dr. Betty Parker. It was Parker who connected with the MBA student and Newmind staff member to bring the device to Schneider Hall. |
Deep in the Heart of Texas Alumni executives at Toyota, Rackspace, USAA, Dell, Whole Foods, ConocoPhillips and Statoil in Texas hosted students as part of a summer course, "The Texas Tour: A Corporate, Cultural and Service Learning Venture." Food and consumer package goods marketing major Holly Evey is grabbing the reins of her college and professional life. As a second year intern at Smucker's, Evey says her coursework and the resources in the college have helped her succeed at her internship.
