Dr. Karen Schieman, assistant professor in the Bronson School of Nursing, and Dr. Alan Rea, professor of business information systems, are the recipients of a grant from the Society of Trauma Nurses to fund development of an app designed to help patients recovering from a concussion.

Senior Edward Mulford has been awarded a coveted Transportation Club of Detroit scholarship for 2017. This marks the fifth year in a row that a WMU student has been the recipient of the scholarship.
