Our mission
The Office of Student Conduct uses an equitable and supportive approach to educate and partner with WMU students, faculty, staff and community members in order to develop a civil, ethical and safe campus environment.
The office
The Office of Student Conduct assists the University community in creating and maintaining the campus environment described in our mission. The Student Code describes the boundaries of acceptable student behavior, approved by the Board of Trustees, and is interpreted and enforced by the Office of Student Conduct. Students are encouraged to develop integrity through self-discipline and a sense of responsibility to the community.
Our services include:
- Coordinating the student conduct processes described in the Student Code.
- Acting as a resource for students, faculty and staff on matters related to student conduct.
- Coordinating and advising conduct panels and the University Appeals Board.
- Facilitating the procedures necessary to support the student academic conduct process.
