Vaccine Incentive Program

Fully vaccinated? Thank you for taking this major step toward keeping yourself and others in our community safe. By choosing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination, you are directly impacting our ability to move forward with a closer-to-normal academic year. To show our gratitude, we’ve instituted some incentives for students and employees.

Incentive Scholarship Program

This fall, we are offering an additional incentive for students with verified proof of full vaccination—enter to win one of 60 scholarships worth up to $10,000! Between August and December, we will be giving out:

  • Five $10,000 scholarships

  • Ten $2,500 scholarships

  • Twenty-five $1,000 scholarships

  • Twenty $500 scholarships

How it works

  • Complete the vaccination registration and verification process.

  • You will be automatically entered into the scholarship drawing when you receive your confirmation of vaccine verification from Sindecuse, unless you have indicated otherwise when uploading your vaccine card into the portal. Note: This may take up to five days if your vaccine was received in Michigan or 10 days for out-of-state documentation.

  • The drawing will be held on the sixth of each month, and you must have completed the registration and verification process by 8 a.m. on the first day of the month to be eligible for that month’s drawing.

  • Recipients will be notified by email, and the news will be announced on the University's various communications channels.

Scholarships may be applied to tuition, fees, on-campus housing and campus dining. To be eligible, you must be enrolled and fully vaccinated; terms and conditions apply.
