Katrina M. Goodall joined the Kalamazoo Promise Scholars Program in April 2019 as the Campus Coach. Prior to working in the Kalamazoo Promise Scholars Program, Katrina was the Coordinator of Clinical Experiences in the College of Education and Human Development.
Katrina received her Bachelor’s Degree (with concentrations in Family Life Education and Management & Organizational Development) from Spring Arbor University. Katrina received her MSW (Policy, Planning, and Administration) from Western Michigan University.
Prior to working at Western Michigan University, Katrina worked for Lockhart Management & Consulting as a Director for four years. In her role as Director, Katrina was responsible for writing and administering grants, securing local donations and sponsorships, business plan development, and adhering to the nationally recognized H.U.D. Model 3 status.
Katrina has extensive experience maintaining collaborative partnerships with non-profit organizations such as the W.E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research, MI Works!®, Kalamazoo Public Schools, and the Department of Human Services.
Katrina served as a board member of the Kalamazoo Literacy Council and Kalamazoo Freedom Schools (Educating for Freedom in Schools) boards. Katrina was born and raised in Forrest City, Arkansas prior to relocating to Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1996. In her spare time, Katrina is passionate about mentoring, tutoring, adult literacy, reading, music, art, travel and spending time with family and friends.
