Dr. Mark Wheeler is a professor and director of graduate studies in the Department of Economics at Western Michigan University.
Wheeler teaches macroeconomics at the principle, intermediate and graduate levels. He also teaches monetary economics at the graduate level and econometrics at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Wheeler’s recent research focuses on the impact of:
- Housing market disturbances on the U.S. financial system.
- Output and exchange rate volatility on fixed private investment.
- U.S. monetary policy shocks on Japan.
