WMU Theatre Presents The SpongeBob Musical

An exciting new musical featuring irresistible characters and magical music, this deep-sea pearl of a show is set to make a splash with audiences young and old. Plunge into this stunning all-singing, all-dancing, dynamic stage show! When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world.

This presentation is the culminating capstone project of the BFA curriculum. The projects reflect each student’s artistic interests as a practicing dance artist with a focus on expanding their range of experience, demonstrate the student’s development in choreography and/or performance, and reflect the student’s current career goals. The dance and its production are the culmination of the student’s studies in dance technique, theory, and aesthetics.

Join us for a look at our newest technology space, the Virtual Imaging Technology Lab, during one of our upcoming demo days in Dalton Center room 3006. A unique blend of leading-edge technologies such as video game engines, virtual reality, real-time interactive visuals and virtual production. The room’s most defining feature is its 28’ LED Wall, which is integrated with a 25-camera motion capture system.

DEI Lunch and Learn - Health Literacy

Join us in the CHHS student engagement center on the third Wednesday of each month for these engaging conversations.
