Posted by Joel Krauss for College of Health and Human Services

This course will provide an introduction to using somatic or body-based interventions in clinical social work. The primary focus will be on how to incorporate yoga to assist clients in improving their mind-body connection. Attendees will also explore the practical issues relating to using yoga with clients in individual and group settings. Several experiential exercises will be included. Please wear a mask upon entering the classroom. Wear comfortable clothing that you are able to move freely in. Bring a yoga or exercise mat (or a towel) for the practice component.
