Introduction to Data Analysis Using Excel
Posted by Angela Brcka for University Libraries
Are you looking to get experience with Microsoft Excel for use in your projects, theses or on the job? Join data librarian Daria Orlowska for a live demonstration of combining, organizing and analyzing data using Excel.
During this workshop, attendees will be presented with an abbreviated research question that will serve as a base for:
- Learning to navigate and use formulas in Excel.
- Critically examining datasets for bias and limitations.
- Discovering how secondary data (data being used for a different purpose than was originally intended when collected, such as the data found in University Libraries lighthouse logs) can be leveraged for research projects.
This hands-on workshop will use actual datasets with step-by-step instructions that you can begin applying right away to your own projects, so don't miss out!
