It typically takes a full-time student taking approximately 15 credits per semester four years to complete the degree program.

The following data was collected using institutional records and an alumni survey that was administered within 12 months after the class of 2020 graduated. 9 out of 10 alumni responded to the survey.

Student Attrition and Retention

75% of students admitted in the fall of 2019 returned in the fall of 2020, putting attrition at 25%.

Graduation Rates

Of the students graduating in 2019-20, 100% graduated within 4 years.

Acceptance into Graduate Programs

None of the graduates from 2017-18, 2018-19, or 2019-2020 for whom we have post-graduation activity data, are pursuing further education.

Job Placement Rates

90% of students who graduated in 2020 are employed in interior design or a related profession.

2019-20

Ten students graduated with a bachelor’s degree in interior design in 2019-20. WMU was able to obtain post-graduation activity data for 90% of these graduates. All of the graduates are employed, and 90% of them are employed in their field, in positions such as kitchen and bath designer, interior designer, office planner, facilities planner, or project technician.

2018-19

Eight students graduated with a bachelor’s degree in interior design in 2018-19. WMU was able to obtain post-graduation activity data for 88% of these graduates. All of the graduates are employed in their field.

2017-18

Eight students graduated with a bachelor’s degree in interior design in 2017-18. WMU was able to obtain post-graduation activity data for 100% of these graduates, and all of them are employed in their field.
