Baird began his career in sales and later worked as a business development manager at HJ Heinz Company before joining The Dannon Company, where he was the U.S. director for Walmart sales. In 2009, he joined the Kellogg Company, serving in several category management roles before being named vice president for U.S. category management in 2013 and vice president of global commercial strategy in 2015.
Baird is a member of the Advisory Council for Dairy Management Institute, Western Michigan Food Industry Advisory Board and the Fiduciary Committee for Ahold Delhaize USA. He was named a “Fast Fifteen” by Northwest Arkansas Business Journal in 2009 and a Consumer Goods Technology Magazine “Visionary” in 2006. Baird earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business from Virginia Wesleyan College and completed a Harvard Business School Executive Education program in 2015.
