Brian Sathianathan is co-founder, chief technology officer and chief digital officer of, an innovation ecosystem launched in 2013.

Ulta Beauty, the Pampered Chef, Driven Brands, Circle K and other companies leverage's patented "intelligent low-code" capabilities to accelerate and simplify digital- and AI-based innovation. With a highly capital-efficient business model,’s revenue grew 287 percent from 2017 to 2020, and 27 percent in 2021. This year growth is projected at 65 percent growth.

Sathianathan started his career at Apple where he was hired for his software development and encryption skills. For six years, he led iPhone and Intel Mac initiatives within the new product introductions (a.k.a. Secret Products) group–a private division responsible for new product development. He was a member of the two core groups that designed the security and activation platform for the first iPhone, for which he holds patents.

Sathianathan left Apple and founded Avot Media, a software platform used by firms such as Warner Brothers to transcode video for mobile. He served as president until Avot was acquired by Smith Micro Software. At Smith, Sathianathan became head of video and was responsible for strategy, vision and integration of that division. Sathianathan then joined the seed-stage investment team at Turner Broadcasting System where he identified startups in the social, consumer, advertising and recommendation. He participated in 13 investments and the acquisition Bleacher Report. Two of his startups were acquired during that period, including one by Apple.
