Mental Fitness to be the Best You

11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Breakout Session, Grand Gallery Overlook AB

The intent of this session is to acknowledge that everything that positively moves in our lives happens only when we venture outside our comfort zone. This change can be uncomfortable and consequential. Stress and pressure have the ability to thrive in this discomfort, but the most successful people have learned to be comfortable being uncomfortable. They compartmentalize and effectively deal with what causes us to stifle our performance. Rick Walker, chief strategy officer at Farmbox Foods and former Olympic swimming coach, will share a different point of view when looking at what holds us in our comfort zone–and how to be comfortable with the discomfort once outside that comfort zone, ultimately bringing everything we do to a more manageable-level.
